ILLINOIS STUDENT
INVENTION CONVENTION

The Illinois Student Invention Convention is a program of Chicago Innovation, inspiring and teaching students from K-8th grade, the invention process. This program culminates every year with a day long Student Invention Convention in which kids from across the Chicagoland area showcase their inventions they've been working on during the school year. 

Role

My role with this organization was to define the new look and feel of the growing program—evolving from the Chicago Student Invention Convention to the Illinois Student Invention Convention. Once branding was established, I developed all digital, print, and social collateral.

After the color palette, typography and logo was finalized, the first project was to implement these new assets into a visualization of the "inventor's journey" 'communicating the seven steps students will take in their curriculum with ISIC.
